How do I sign up for Reklaim Protect?

Go to Protect and click Start protecting my data.
Optionally add a phone number and click Save number, or click Skip for now.
You'll see Protect is on, and your first scan runs. Click View Protect dashboard to see results.

Protect is free: no payment required.

I got a Reklaim Protect breach alert. What should I do?

A breach alert means the email on your Reklaim account appeared in a data set known to have been exposed (source: Have I Been Pwned).

Recommended steps:

Open Protect and read the alert to see which service was breached and what data was exposed (see All Exposed Data).
Change your password on the affected service immediately.
Change your password anywhere else you reused it.
Enable 2FA on the affected service if available.
Check for suspicious account activity.
When you're done, click I've Fixed This on the alert.

A breach alert is not the same as identity theft, and it does not mean someone has accessed your Reklaim account.

How much does Reklaim Protect cost?

Reklaim Protect is free for Reklaim members. No payment required.

How do I add an email or phone for monitoring?

Protect scans the verified email on your Reklaim account. There is nothing to subscribe to.

When you turn on Protect, you can add a phone number or click Skip for now.
A phone number is optional and is saved for SMS alerts when they launch. Skipping does not block Protect.

How do I request data-broker removal?

Data-broker removal is part of Reklaim Protect, free for members in the US.

Go to Protect and open the Data Brokers tab.
Click Remove my data from brokers. By starting removal, you authorize Reklaim to request removals from data brokers on your behalf.
If asked, confirm your mailing address and click Start removal.

Protect sends a removal request to each broker on your behalf and tracks every request until the broker confirms. Brokers typically start confirming within 1 to 2 weeks.
